Natalie Risbrough is currently in her final year of a fine art degree at Leeds Beckett University. Her home town of Saltburn-By-The-Sea has provided her with many of the inspirations in her work.
“My main practice is in drawing and I have recently been using sculpture. I work primarily in black and white. They tend to be of a dark nature with reoccurring themes that include creatures, sea creatures, animals, foliage eyes ECT. I am largely influenced by the ideas of dreams, nightmares and the subconscious, creating another world that the viewer can make their own narratives and assumptions about”.
